So I was Googling various nonsense to see what would come up via Google images whilst I read my morning emails and sipped my thinking juice (aka: coffee). Eventually I found this gem of a picture;
Behold! The Vaderatrix! Alluring yet frightening! Disturbing yet awesome! I mean come on, she (or he ’cause one never knows) even has the life-support doohickey and the utility belt. All that’s missing is the whip and a bottle of Astroglide. Once again this proves that geeks are some of the kinkiest freaks on this green rock.
I’m sure this picture has already made the rounds but hell, how can I not share something like this? I have no idea where the original photo comes from, so if you know let me know, but from the looks of it the shot was probably taken at a convention. Shocker I know.
Certainly puts a new twist to the famous Star Wars quote “And now, your highness, we will discuss the location of your hidden rebel base… “
The much anticipated nerd comedy “Fanboys” is hitting selected theaters this Friday (including Philly). For those of you not in the know the film is about the following:
It’s 1998 and Star Wars fanboys across the globe eagerly await the release of Episode I. But for Eric, Linus, Hutch and Windows the term “fanboys” is more than just a title, it’s a badge of honor. Spurred by impatience and an undying loyalty to their cause, these former high school friends reunite to undertake the road trip of their fan-tasies. Traveling West across the country to visit their Mecca – George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch – the plan is to break in, steal the film and stake their claim as the first fanboys in history to watch it. But to secure their place in the fanboy hall of fame, they’ll have to contend with bizarre bikers, a crazy pimp, a deranged group of trekkies and the quiet intensity of William Shatner.
I have to say this is possibly the coolest, yet potentially extremely dangerous, mod I have ever seen: a radio controlled helicopter with a functional .45 pistol mounted to the front.
Check it, check it my fellow Star Wars fans! It’s the Droidel, a paper craft R2D2-themed dreidel graciously provided by StarWars.com! Download it and spin to your heart’s desire.
Today marks the 30th anniversary of The Star Wars Holiday Special! Don’t know what the hell I’m talking about? Well shame on you. Just watch the above video and check out StarWarsHolidaySpecial.com to get yourself educated.
Is this a simple birthday cake in the form of the iconic scene from The Empire Strikes Back of Han Solo encased in carbonite, or is this something more sinister? Look closely at the body, the face. Doesn’t look like Han Solo at all. But there is a strong resemblance to another cultural icon… Mr. Bill! Don’t believe me? Well take a look at this buck-o.
What we have here is in fact Mr. Bill frozen in carbonite. Michele’s Cakes, we here at Zombie Monkey Projects are on to your morbid and despicable deed!
The Empire has landed and occupied the city of San Francisco. Star Wars fans taunt Star Trek fans with the fact that their beloved scifi franchise is actually real. Rest of world poops pants.
