Remember the story about Darth Vader beating up two Jedi Church nerds over in the U.K.? Well it’s his lucky day as he has been spared from jail time. His name is Arwel Wynne, and to some he is a hero. To other the scourge of all Jedi.
For those who don’t remember this sordid tale, let us recap:
Arwel Wynne Hughes, 27, attacked Jedi church founder Barney Jones — aka Master Jonba Hehol — and his 18-year-old cousin, Michael Jones — known as Master Mormi Hehol, with a metal crutch, during the filming of a documentary about the church. Jonba and Mormi then press charges against his Dark Lord, taking him to court for assault.
Wah and boo-hoo I say.
But the Dark Side of The Force be praised, Holyhead Magistrates’ Court sentenced Hughes to two months in jail but suspended the sentence for one year. Hughes was also ordered to pay $195.00 to each of his victims and $117.00 in court fees.
In celebration of this auspicious day I give you the actual beat-down, which really wasn’t much of one. More like a light tap. Boy are those Jedi sissies.
Founding member Barney Jones, also know as Jonba Hehol, of the Holyhead Jedi Church said that he and his cousin were attacked by Darth Vader while tending their garden of Jedi lameness for some documentary.
