Above you will find possibly one of the greatest Zombie Jesus ideas ever - 3 Days Later: Jesus Christ Zombie Lord, a film idea from Clay Robeson Creative. Yes, this is to be a musical as explained on the official website - “3 Days Later: Jesus Christ Zombie Lord will be a full length motion picture that is a song for song Parody of the movie Jesus Christ Superstar, focusing on the awesomeness that is the original 1973 motion picture combined with society’s current fascination with everything Zombie.” Only problem is these guys are poor starving artists in need of some scratch to make this project come to life… err death… oh hell you know what I mean. As such they’re taking donations to help them bring our Undead Savior to undead life. A honorable cause if ever there was.
See the image to the left here boys and girls? It’s just what you think it is - a LEGO Bender! Alas though, it’s scratch-built and not available from the fine Danish company. I must admit that I let out a but of a squee when I initially thought that this would be an official release from LEGO. Yeah, I’m that kind of fanboy for the TV series. Pepa Quin, a mad-skilled LEGO builder, decided to take it upon himself to create the entire crew, the Planet Express headquarters and ship, and even a Slurm billboard, all from Futurama. There’s a slew of images of his creations here.

This year’s Philly Zombie Crawl was a brain-smashing success. Over 200 of Philly’s finest zombies converged upon South Street for booze and braaaains. The night kicked off at Tattooed Mom where folks got themselves zombiefied through the magic of makeup and beer. Once everyone was properly brain dead the horde of the undead shambled down the streets and alleyways of the South Street area. Once finished with that we all went out into the chilly night to other bars to help spread the virus. The night ended at Fluid nightclub for the punkrock go-go night Fast, Cheap & Out of Control.
You can check out all of the pics from the night here.
Paramount Pictures released some shots of Ray Park as Snake Eyes from the upcoming film G.I. Joe. For those who don’t remember, or are not geek enough to, Ray Park is Darth Maul.
Director Stephen Sommers (The Mummy and Van Helsing) says about his version of Snake Eyes, “He’s the world’s greatest ninja, but he’s also next-generation. He’s not afraid to use a sword one second, and a split-second later he’s pulling out his Glock”.
The movie is an origins story, explaining such things as why Destro wears a metal mask and why Snake Eyes doesn’t talk.

Argentinian teenage thugs force Gary Coleman to dress as creepy gnome and do a shuffle! OK, not really. What’s actually going on here seems to be some sort of little dude dresses like an extra from Lord of the Rings terrorizing a bunch of drunk teens. You have to wait for the video to get close to the end to actually see the little bugger, but it’s worth the wait if for any other reason than to hear the girlie-man squee from one of the knuckleheads.
Remember those old EC Comics you loved as a kid? All of the zombies, werewolves and buxom witches? I know I do. Especially the vivid covers - filled with tantalizing tidbits of what was to come.
Aly Fell over at ImagineFX shows you how to recreate the look and feel of the old pulp horror comics from the ’30s to the ’60s using a little of your drawling skills and PhotoShop, just like the one you see to the left. The online workshop includes instructions and a helpful file full of fonts, textures and more to help you along.
