Monday, April 27th, 2009I’m testing out a plugin that’s supposed to repost my ZoMoPro posts to my LiveJournal blog. I think there’s some interactive functions as well, so it isn’t the syndication option that LiveJournal provides. It may work. It may go terribly wrong. Who knows? It’ll be a fun little adventure.
And in the interest in making this post at least not so damned boring here’s a swank video of this past Easter’s Philly Zombie Crawl. It was put together by Philly local filmogapher Bob Sweeney.

Blingin’ The Joint Out
Tuesday, March 31st, 2009I’m working on pulling the Grendel’s Den Design Studio (my design and art site) and DaveGhoul.com (my DJ site) feeds into ZoMoPro so they both post into this blog, which will give you a one-stop place for all things me. I’m also integrating ZoMoPro with my Facebook profile which will enable ZoMoPro posts to show on my Facebook profile Wall, and you should be able to add replies from there and have them show on the original post.
Yes, yes, yes…I’m such an attention-whore. But again, this will make it a singular place to get information on all of my asskickery.
So, in short, if you see some wonky posts that’s why.
In the meantime I give you some crazed dude with an awesome bulldozer of wrecking awesomeness…
I’m Not Dead Yet
Monday, March 30th, 2009Where the hell have I been some of you have asked. Well, nowhere really. I’ve been incognito due in most part to work, of which I kind of have to devote my attention to. But all in all things here will be just fine. I’ll be tweaking out the format a little here by making ZoMoPro a little more personal. So not only will there be the typical freaky-deaky posts you’ve come to love but there will be more journal-like posts of my doings and going-ons. It will be a kind of melding of all my online musings as it were. For my Twitter followers though there will be something of a change – I’ll be Tweeting these posts to my personal account soon, which I know almost all of you follow anyway. So it shouldn’t be any big deal.
In any case I’ll be making some slight changes to ZoMoPro, some of which are already done (like the new look, some new links and the addition of my Last.fm feed).

Oh Look, He’s Back
Tuesday, November 4th, 2008I know, I know. “Where the hell have you been!” is what you’re asking. You missed the shenanigans? The monsters? The monkeys? I know you have. Well I did too.
October was a very busy time for Zombie Monkey Projects Lord and Master, being it the Halloween season and all. It takes a lot of time to make zombies and pirates and other such creepazoids. And this year was especially crazy. There was little time to crawl out from the lair.
But now Halloween is sadly over and things have settled down. For you though it means you’re gonna get you daily dose of odd stuff for odd people back into your grubby mitts. And on Election Day ta boot. Auspicious, no?
So yeah, go out and vote today. Do your civic duty and pull that lever. Then when you’re finished come on back and reward yourself with some ZoMoPro loven’.

ZMP Off To HorrorFind Weekend

I’m heading to the spring HorrorFind Weekend, one of the most ass-kicking horror conventions around. Reports and photos of the mayhem will creep in as I have them. If you happen to be there look me up in the Art Show room where I’ll be lending fellow artist Chad Savage a hand running it.
There’s some pretty swank seminars including a “Corpsification for Beginners” course, a Weird Tales Magazine Retrospective and slew of movie screening. The full events schedule is here.

Testing New Blog-To-Twitter Thingy Part II
Wednesday, September 16th, 2009I think I have the plugin, Twitter Blog, all set. It will allow my Twitter followers replies to my tweeted blog posts to be pulled and then posted in the original blog post’s comments. But there is a trick to it, just like anything else. In order for the replies to be pulled from Twitter you must click the reply button on the blog post’s tweet. If you just type in a response or click the reply button on a different Tweet, no comment post for you. So give it a try and let’s see if this baby is set.
Facebook and LiveJournal followers… currently you’re s.o.l. until someone makes a similar plugin.
