This mashup video of William Shatner’s version of Pulp’s Common People and clips of the Star Trek Animated series has been making the rounds on the Internets, as far be it for ZMP not to follow the crowd.

We’re going away for the Memorial Day weekend to partake of the grilled flesh of God’s Green Earth, attend a wedding, drink Pyrate Rum and practice our marksmen skills. So to kick off this thrill-a-minute weekend we give you one of the greatest geek-a-liciouses homemade music videos ever… the Rotersand Dalek Music Video. Bask in its asskickery and such.
This little video just made my week. It’s got the Ramones, the Scooby Gang, Casper The Friendly Ghost and the Bewitched cast, all in wonderful animation.

The picture is of guitar maker George Marlin’s Bigfoot electric guitar, during the Miami Beach Guitar Festival.
I think the picture speaks for itself really.

What do you get when two types of geekdom, electric and gaming, collide? Video game themes played with musical Tesla coils. Very cool but still not as awesome as a Death Ray.
Mario Brothers…
Zelda…
The above freaks (their from California, what else could they be) The Creature Feature are one of my favorite bands of the moment. Their sound is somewhere between a hellish carnival and a sadistic cartoon. Which obviously means I have to share with you all. The above video is for the song Buried Alive from their album The Greatest Show Unearthed. It’s not necessarily an original video, focusing mostly on the band in a dark setting full of gothyness, shadows and some sort of Nosferatu skulking about. But there is a latex-clad bombshell slinking about so it’s all good.
Sarah Brightman, Ohgr from Skinny Puppy and Paris Hilton in a Goth/Industrial opera? Someone shoot me now please.
