What do you do if you’re a fan of the film Gremlins 2 and you hated the projection booth scene in which the little green beasts invaded, only to get reprimanded by Hulk Hogan? Why you create a better version all on your own, which is what French fan Sacha Feiner does with amazing results.
Feiner explains:
This is the alternate fan sequence I made for the DVD version of the Gremlins 2 “film break” scene. I made it alone, in a two months period, with (computer-enhanced) puppets I re-created for this project.
In Feiner’s alternate version the Gremlins proceed to splice themselves in various films to reek mayhem and hilarity. And the effects are almost seamless, which is pretty damn impressive for a home-grown project.
